A bit about me & MY ART
A lot got me here, but the real story of my art and life is yet to come. I hope you follow along as I continue to explore and evolve JAG DESIGNS.
I am not too inclined to talk about myself, but I love sharing the process and behind-the-scenes of how I create my art.
I am a builder of many things, and I design/build most of the tools and equipment I use to create my pieces. I also built my shops (I have two) from the ground up; they are also a part of my creative process.
I started my artistic work with glass, the raw material, and the process of manipulating it with heat, pressure, chemicals/dyes… I began with glass blowing, evolved to fused glass, and now shattered glass panels.
I am a self-taught welder, perfecting my trade with each sculpture. I create large-scale (10-12 feet) sculptures and small (12-14 inch) tabletop sculptures with accents of my glass art.
All of my work is original design, and requests for custom designs and inspiration are always welcome. Thank you for learning about me and my journey with JAG DESIGNS.
